These Terms explain the rules for using SkillTrees. SkillTrees provides fitness planning, workout generation, progress tracking, and related training tools. By creating an account, using the app, or buying a subscription, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are written to be practical and clear. They do not limit rights that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection, data protection, app-store, or other applicable laws.

We do not publish a private residential address on this website for personal safety and privacy reasons. Please contact us by email for support, legal, billing, or privacy questions. If a postal address is legally required for a specific matter, we will provide an appropriate contact method where required by applicable law.
SkillTrees is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years old to use SkillTrees, or older if your country requires a higher age to use online services or provide consent. If you are under the legal age in your country, you may use SkillTrees only with consent from a parent or legal guardian.

A “lifetime” purchase means access to the relevant paid SkillTrees features for the lifetime of the SkillTrees service and your account, not for your personal lifetime. It remains subject to these Terms, app-store rules, technical availability, and any mandatory consumer rights. If the service is discontinued, the shutdown section below applies.
You give SkillTrees permission to store, process, and display your data only as needed to provide the service, personalize workouts, maintain your account, process subscriptions, provide support, secure the app, and comply with law. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
There is currently no self-service data export button. You can ask what data we hold about you by emailing support@skilltrees.net. You can delete your account at any time from profile settings. The deletion flow requires your email and password to confirm the request.
SkillTrees uses AI to generate workout suggestions and adapt future workouts. AI-generated workouts may be incomplete, incorrect, too easy, too hard, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise is safe for you.

Some sound effects used in SkillTrees are licensed from ZapSplat under its Standard License. Those sound effects remain the property of ZapSplat and/or its licensors. Your use of SkillTrees does not give you a separate right to extract, reuse, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or use those sound effects outside the service except as permitted by applicable law and the ZapSplat license terms.
SkillTrees is operated by a very small business. We work to keep the service available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or permanent availability. Features may change, be paused, or be removed if needed for safety, legal, technical, business, app-store, or provider reasons.
If we decide to shut down the service, our standard approach will be to give reasonable advance notice where practical, explain what will happen to accounts and subscriptions, and give users a reasonable chance to request their data or delete their account before shutdown. Some urgent legal, security, provider, or technical situations may require shorter notice.
Refunds or remaining subscription access after a shutdown will be handled according to applicable law and the rules of the purchase platform used, such as Apple App Store, Google Play, or web checkout.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkillTrees is provided “as is” and “as available”. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer protection laws.

We may suspend or terminate access if an account:
We may update these Terms when SkillTrees changes, when providers or app-store requirements change, or when legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we will notify users by email or in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms, subject to your mandatory rights.
SkillTrees is operated from Switzerland. These Terms are governed by Swiss law, except where mandatory consumer protection, data protection, app-store, or other local laws give you rights that cannot be waived.
If you live in the EU/EEA, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, those mandatory rights continue to apply. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect as far as legally possible.
